The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers (Primary Teacher/PRT). A total of 12,405 vacancies have been announced under Advertisement No. 05/2026.

The UPESSC PRT Online Application Form has started from 16 September 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their applications online until 15 October 2026.

The minimum age limit is 21 years, while the maximum age limit is 40 years, calculated as of 01 July 2026.

Assistant Teacher (Primary – Urban)	Candidates must have a Graduation Degree along with BTC, D.El.Ed, B.El.Ed, or Special D.El.Ed qualification. They must also have passed STET or CTET (Paper-I).
Assistant Teacher (Attached Primary)	Candidates must have a Graduation Degree along with BTC, D.El.Ed, B.El.Ed, or Special D.El.Ed qualification. They must also have passed UPTET or CTET (Paper-I).
