The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official notification for Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2027 Recruitment 2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. The online application process started on 06 July 2026 and will remain open until 26 July 2026 (11:00 PM). Age Limit

Minimum Age: 17.5 Years
Maximum Age: 22 Years
Candidates should be born between 01 July 2005 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification

Science Subjects

Candidates should have any one of the following:

10+2 Intermediate with Physics, Mathematics, and English with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, OR
Three-year Diploma in Engineering in relevant disciplines with minimum 50% marks and 50% marks in English, OR
Two-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics having minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.

Other Than Science Subjects

10+2 Intermediate in any stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, OR
Two-year Vocational Course with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of:

Online Computer-Based Test (Phase-I)
Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Adaptability Test-I
Adaptability Test-II
Medical Examination
Document Verification

Salary & Benefits

1st Year: ₹30,000 per month
2nd Year: ₹33,000 per month
3rd Year: ₹36,500 per month
4th Year: ₹40,000 per month
Seva Nidhi Package: Approximately ₹10.04 lakh after completion of four years.
Life Insurance: ₹48 lakh non-contributory cover.
Up to 25% of Agniveers may be enrolled into the regular Indian Air Force based on organizational requirements and performance.
